Green Stuff texture rollers without handle in various designs

There are many different putties and types of clay on the market and all can be structured with the right technique.
Usually, modeling with these dough rollers and polymer clay (Fimo or Sculpey type) is quite easy, as polymer clay allows for easy troubleshooting, due to the heat needed for curing. If the goal is to model textured bases, we recommend using MDF wood bases. It is possible to texture the material directly on the bases and then fire the model together with the MDF wood bases in the oven at 150ºC for 15 minutes. The MDF wood bases will not burn and will slightly resemble the smell of toast. In the case of epoxy putties, there are several techniques to achieve similar results. The advantage with these materials is that they do not need to be baked, but can be textured directly. When using Green Stuff, which is particularly sticky, it is advisable to wet the surface of the roller or the compound with a little water before imprinting the texture. Also with talcum powder, or even directly applied modeling Vaseline , the stickiness of the Greenstuff can be reduced. Other epoxy putties, such as Milliput modeling compounds, can also be used. However, these should not be moistened, as it complicates the work unnecessarily. If Milliput seems too sticky, the compound should be kneaded until the stickiness subsides.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

After using the roller, it should be cleaned with a scratch brush and plenty of water, 


DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

1st - Mix the putty/clay, modeling compounds, properly until it is ready according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
2 - Spread out the putty/clay, the modeling compounds. For better results, smooth the mass. *** We recommend using a flat dough roller, without texture, for this purpose.
3rd - Depending on the type of material, we recommend moistening the roller to avoid sticking to the roller.
4th - Move the roller with punctual uniform pressure to ensure a continuous texture.
5th - Cut off the excess material on the sides, using a sharp knife. We recommend letting the material dry beforehand.
