This variable casting box is the ideal supplement for all mold making enthusiasts. This box can be adjusted to the exact size of the impression model quickly and easily.
Any rectangular or square box format up to a size of approx. 18 x 27 cm can be set within a few seconds. The maximum format is 310 x 200 x 70 mm. All you have to do is loosen the wing screws on the frame sides and move the side boards until the desired format is reached. Then tighten the wing screws again. Complete!
In order to protect and impregnate the wooden parts of the Vario molding box at the same time, they should be pre-treated with outdoor paint. In order to prevent the molding compound used from sticking to the wood, the Vario mold kit is pre-treated with mold release wax emulsion before each use.
The box body is firmly fixed to the base plate with the rubber band. Separating joints should be closed with mold modeling plasticine. Depending on the original model to be cast, this is attached directly to the bottom of the casting box, e.g. with double-sided adhesive tape, or embedded in modeling plasticine.
