Description 
Soft ground (Vernis mou) in one piece (29100)
A softer wax mixture for the so-called push-through process, as well as the fabric push-through process. The warmed plate is lightly brushed over with beef tallow and wiped off again so that only a thin film of fat remains.

Vernis mou is now dabbed onto the plate and the base, which has been removed by the heat, is spread evenly and in a thin layer over the plate with a small leather roller. Before you start pressing through, the plate must be completely cold.
