Museum Series Encausticbord is a finely textured, highly absorbent board formulated for the unique requirements of encaustic painting and mixed media. Encausticbord is made from our premium jar-resistant 1/8" profile FSC-certified Hardboard™ that is protected with our proprietary Archiva-Seal™ and coated with a specially formulated gesso to form a bright, velvety surface ready for encaustic painting. Encausticbord is a collaboration between R&F Handmade Paints and Ampersand Art Supply.
