In 1905, Gustave Sennelier closed a long-standing gap in fine arts by developing an innovative, woodless, semi-hard pastel pencil. Now, 120 years later, SENNELIER reintroduces this legendary tool in a premium reissue.
These highly pigmented pastels boast exceptional vibrancy and a masterful texture. They are soft enough to achieve rich hues and seamless blends without heavy pressure, yet firm enough to guarantee ultimate control for fine details and intricate structures. Thanks to the woodless design, you can enjoy a much cleaner, low-dust working environment. Work with the tip for fine hatching, or use the flat side for sweeping color fields. Perfectly suited for layering and blending with an estompe, these sticks can be easily sharpened using sandpaper or a specialized pastel sharpener.
