In order to achieve a mirror-smooth surface when casting with Casting-Resin, fill the mould completely with Casting-Resin and lay the Protective Foil over it. Make sure there are no pockets of air trapped under the Protective Foil. Then weigh down the Projective Foil evenly with an object and afterwards pull it off the hardened casting.
